Media Reform
GVFJ is just one of many grassroots, independent media organizations taking a stand against a corporatized, consolidated media that often passes prepackaged press releases as unchecked and unbalanced news. We attend lectures, panels, and events to record and document alternative perspectives, innovative analysis, and independenet thinkers so we can make those critical voices available to everyone. We participated in three of the four National Conferences for Media Reform, the last one taking place June 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota
One State for Palestine / Israel Conference - Boston
A two-day international conference, “One State for
Palestine/Israel: A Country for All Its Citizens?” was held at the
University of Massachusetts, Boston, March 28-29, featuring many
of the world's top Middle East scholars and professors. The conference included seven panels, and -- thanks to the generosity of our supporters -- Global Voices for Justice was there to film and record
these important discussions. We are currently working out a collaborative production / distribution that will make the highlights of this important conference widely available.
