Angela Davis spoke at an event sponsored by "A New Way of Life" in the WLCAC Phoenix Hall in Los Angeles, California, on February 2010. She addressed the need for reform in the prison system and society in general, especially concerning civil rights for women, people of color, and the LGBTcommunity.
